Add another million dollars to the taxpayers’ tab for Rick Perry presidential security

Travel expenses for Gov. Rick Perry’s security detail totaled nearly $1 million from September through part of February, according to the latest report from the Texas Department of Public Safety. The new report, released Friday, spans the time period from the month after he started his presidential bid to the month after it ended.
